nice, warm tones. clothing could be more elaborated, but then it would loose it#s sketchy style .. maybe in another version?

maybe it's the warm tones or the liveliness of the brushstrokes but i can almost feel her breathe
i have much to learn from you

Great job on this! I'm looking for any criticisms... well you probably know what you're doing more than I do, but the bow in the back seems as though it should have a few darker tones where it meets to the head wrap. Then again maybe not.
Everything about this piece is great! Really looks like the old classic paintings.

Anyways, I love the style in this one, and have always loved this kinda style. And yes, it reminds me of Vermeer. Excellent work!

The painterly look and earthly golden pallette make this work very appealing.
